About Us

Our History

The Coffinberger family was devastated when we lost Chris (Boog) in October of 2020 due to an overdose. Chris left behind two young boys, his parents, three sisters and many friends and family in the Violetville and surrounding communities. It was a struggle for the family and a month later Chris’ mom passed away adding to the struggle.

Chris loved anything with a motor and became a master mechanic at a very young age. Chris’ struggle started around 2010 when he was working on a car and it fell on top of him. He was prescribed pain medicine, and from there continued to use and abuse. Addiction can impact anyone at any point in their life. Addiction not only impacts the addict, but also their family and friends.

When we lost Chris, we knew right away we wanted to help other families that have the same struggles.

After two years we are launching Coffinberger Network, a Baltimore based non-profit to provide families and friends of addicts with resources. We will also inform the public about overdose prevention.

You are Not Alone!

Our Mission

Coffinberger Network will provide resources and support to families that have a loved one struggling with addiction or lost someone to addiction, with a focus on the Baltimore City and surrounding county areas. In 2020, there were 2799 Unintentional Intoxication Fatalities in Baltimore.

The success of this non-profit is dependent on community engagement and support.

Coffinberger.net will ensure community engagement by leveraging a multi pillar marketing approach including in-person and digital, print and signage to support building awareness of the Coffinberger Network offerings.
